New Year
"What are you doing out walking so early?"
"Heading home. What are you doing out driving so late?"
"You could get attacked by a deer!"
"Nah, they're pretty friendly this time of night."

Aside from that car full of strangers that stopped to say hi, I didn't see anyone on the walk home besides a couple cars on Jefferson.

Shortly after 10, I headed for Mike and Josh's, thinking that it would be better than spending New Year's eve watching old episodes of Simpsons and drinking Sam Adam's Boston Lager (which isn't very good). Took me 25 minutes to walk to their house over on Jefferson, but it was well worth it. This was definitely the best New Year's eve I've had in a long time. Mike, Josh, Jeff, and Laura were there, and I met some friends of Laura's and a few people Josh went to high school with. My brother called me 3 times to wish me a happy new year, so drunk that he forgot the previous calls. Late in the evening, we decided to go for a walk, since it was so nice out tonight (about 50 degrees and a little windy). We didn't make it far, but we got pictures of me peeing on an RIT sign (over by the hotel), Laura doing a Marylin Monroe over a street grate, and me humping a tree. The walk home was definitely colder, but it went faster, being half-drunk and all.

There's been talk of breakfast at Jay's around noon. I'm all for it, and I hope I get to go along.

Happy New Year, folks. May this one be even better than the last.

EDIT:
I forgot to mention that I saw more man-bits tonight than I ever would have expected. However, kudos to Josh for being the first guy I've ever seen to follow through on a "seriously, I WILL whip it out" threat. And Mike has things pierced that I didn't even know people pierced.
